Sauti has officially partnered with Agricultural Market and Development Trust (AGMARK). AGMARK is a not-for-profit development organization with a regional presence in 18 countries in Eastern, Western and Southern Africa. AGMARK’s mission is to improve incomes and food security of smallholder farmers in Africa by facilitating agricultural development through adoption of improved production technologies and effective output marketing in response to identified market opportunities.

This partnership builds on Sauti’s and AGMARK’s existing work to date across the EAC. With the assistance of donors and implementing partners, Sauti and AGMARK have worked to support smallholder farmers, cross border traders and businesses through training, networking and access to information. The partnership will aim to increase opportunities for smallholder farmers, cross border traders and businesses across the East Africa region, supporting greater regional integration at the same time increasing reach and impact of both organisations.
