We are pleased to announce that Sauti has been selected to participate in the Make-IT in Africa Accelerator. The competition featured over 200 applicants aiming to be part of a group of 15 most promising digital startups in East Africa.

The Make-IT Accelerator promotes digital innovation for sustainable and inclusive development in Sub-Saharan Africa and seeks to address the common challenges of business development faced by digital start-ups through a nine-month acceleration programme. The project is implemented by GIZ, in collaboration with Nailab (Kenya), Co-creation Hub (Nigeria) and Endeva.

As part of the Accelerator, Sauti will be provided with access to major international corporations and investors. The Accelerator programme focuses on three main phases: Capacity for growth, Cooperation Readiness and Investment readiness.

We are enthusiastic to grow our engagement with GIZ-run programs and build off of our previous partnership as part of GIZ-EAC Incubator for Integration and Development in East Africa.
